- Applicants must be South African citizens.

- Applications for fields of study not listed above will not be considered.
- Communication will be limited to successful applicants only. If no communication is received within 14 days of Grade 12 results or after the National Bursary Committee’s selection process, consider the application unsuccessful.
- Late applications will not be considered.
- Applications can be submitted without university acceptance letters or results, but these should be provided as soon as available.
- The DALRRD reserves the right to determine the total number of bursary allocations based on budget availability.
