Available Job Positions at the National School of Government
The NSG is currently recruiting for two key positions in its Pretoria office:
1. Senior Administrative Officer: Office of the Deputy Director-General (Ref No: NSG 01/2025)
- Salary: R376,413 per annum (Level 08), plus benefits.
- Location: Pretoria.

Requirements:
- A National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Office Administration, Business Administration, Public Management, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in office administration.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Understanding of public service policies, protocol, and etiquette.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Deputy Director-General’s diary and correspondence.
- Arrange meetings, events, and travel logistics.

- 1-2 years of relevant experience in office administration, preferably in an ETD (Education, Training, and Development) environment.
- Knowledge of supply chain management procedures and logistics.
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
- Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics for training events, including venue bookings and facilitator arrangements.
- Update training schedules and maintain accurate records.
- Process procurement of venues, catering, and learning materials.
- Assist in the management of learning material distribution for training sessions.
