    Buffalo City Municipality is hiring a Project Administrator. As a Project Administrator, you will hold a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating initiatives that enhance infrastructure and services throughout the municipality. The municipality is seeking individuals with strong organizational skills and a passion for project management to contribute to these significant endeavors.


    Project Administrator Position Overview:

    • Category: Corporate Services
    • Job Title: Project Administrator (Infrastructure Skills Development Grant): Human Resource Performance and Development
    • Grade: Task Grade 10
    • Annual Salary: R 297,857.72
    • Total Package: R 514,333.00 per annum (subject to certain conditions)
    • Contract Type: 3-year fixed-term contract post
    • Reference Number: 13/24
    • Closing date: 1 July 2024

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 qualification
    • Skills Development Facilitation Certificate
    • Proficient in computer literacy
    • Five (5) years of general administrative experience
    • Including six (6) months of experience specifically within a municipal environment

    Key performance:

    Administration of conditional grant funding

    • Manage the administrative processes related to conditional grant funding.
    • Ensure compliance with funding requirements and documentation.

    Administration of capacity building programs

    • Oversee the administrative aspects of capacity building initiatives.
    • Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and participant communications.

    Monitoring all capacity building programs

    • Monitor the progress and effectiveness of capacity building programs.
    • Track outcomes and assess program impact on targeted areas.

    Coordinating internships

    • Facilitate the coordination and administration of internship programs.
    • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure program objectives are met.

    Presenting learning programs

    • Deliver presentations or facilitate learning sessions as part of educational programs.
    • Ensure content delivery aligns with program objectives and participant needs.

    • Understanding of the organization’s structure, objectives, and operational dynamics.
    • Awareness of how decisions and actions impact different departments and stakeholders within the organization.

    • Utilizing regulatory guidelines and industry standards to guide practices and procedures.

    • Ability to identify and resolve issues or challenges effectively.

    Demonstrates the ability to break down complex problems

    • Capability to simplify and understand intricate issues or scenarios.
    • Proficiency in dissecting complex problems into manageable components for analysis and resolution.
