Unveiling the 2023 Matric Results
The culmination of the 2023 matric examinations was set for December 6, 2023. Mrs. Angie Motshekga, the Minister of Basic Education, will officially announce the examination outcomes on January 18, 2024. Candidates can expect to receive their 2023 matric results on January 19, 2024, though technical issues may affect the availability of some results.
Candidates are encouraged to obtain their statements of results from the school or examination center where they took the exams. Additionally, matric results will be accessible on the basic education website starting from 6 a.m. on January 19, 2024. Any result-related queries must be submitted for investigation within 30 days after the release.
It is crucial for candidates to verify the accuracy of their names and identity numbers on their statements of results. Corrections, if needed, should be reported to the Department by February 21, 2024.
