As an Administrative Officer in the Multisectoral AIDS Response Management Unit, your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive administrative, operational, logistical, financial, and personnel support to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the HIV, TB, and STI response efforts. - Scale: R242 640,00 – R337 008,00 per annum
- Package: R340 769,00 – R460 882,00 per annum

Key Responsibilities
The role of Administrative Officer involves a wide range of duties that are essential to the effective management and operations of the Multisectoral HIV, TB, and STI Response Programme. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Administrative Support:
- Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the Multisectoral AIDS Response Management Unit.
- Handle various office tasks such as filing, scheduling, and ensuring smooth operations within the department.
- Operational and Logistical Assistance:
- Assist with organizing logistical support for programme activities and events.
- Update and maintain the inventory of materials related to the HIV, TB, and STI programme.
- Financial and Personnel Support:
- Help manage the financial aspects of the programme, such as budget tracking and resource allocation.
- Provide support in handling personnel-related tasks, ensuring compliance with HR processes and regulations.
- Records Management:
- Ensure that all records, whether physical or electronic, are efficiently and accurately maintained.
- Follow established protocols for archiving and retrieving relevant programme documents.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain clear communication with both internal team members and external stakeholders.
- Ensure that programme materials are properly recorded and distributed to relevant parties.
- Inventory Management:
- Regularly update the inventory of the Multisectoral AIDS Response Management Unit to ensure that all necessary resources are available and adequately stocked.
Job Requirements
To be considered for the Administrative Officer role, the following qualifications and experience are essential:
- Education:
- A Grade 12 certificate is mandatory.
- Relevant Experience:
- At least six months of relevant working experience in the health or multisectoral AIDS response sector.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in computer skills and office software.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures, operations, and office management.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including fluency in local languages.
- Analytical and innovative thinking skills.
