1. Deputy Director: Administrative Support and Coordination (Ref No: DSAC-10/02/2025)
- Location: Pretoria
- Salary: R849,702 per annum (all-inclusive remuneration package)
- Requirements:
- Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent qualification
- A three-year Degree or National Diploma in Administration, Public Management & Administration, Office Administration, Secretariat, or a related field
- 3-5 years of management experience in political and parliamentary processes
- Strong understanding of administrative procedures, policies, and regulations
- Computer literacy and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage administrative activities in the Office of the Minister
- Develop and maintain document flow systems
- Handle correspondence, cabinet memoranda, and submissions
- Oversee procurement and budget management
- Manage office logistics and maintain a filing system
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding ministerial matters
- Provide parliamentary and executive council support
- Supervise office employees and ensure efficient workflow
- Preference will be given to:
- Coloured males and females
- Indian males and females
- White males
2. Parliamentary and Cabinet Support Officer (Ref No: DSAC-11/02/2025)
- Location: Pretoria
- Salary: R849,702 per annum (all-inclusive remuneration package)
- Requirements:
- Senior Certificate (Matric) or relevant qualification
- A three-year Degree or National Diploma in Public Relations, Media Studies, Administration, Office Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of management experience in political and parliamentary processes
- Knowledge of Ministry operations, policies, and practices
- Strong organizational, communication, and networking skills
- Understanding of the political and parliamentary processes in South Africa
- Good analytical and presentation skills
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support related to Parliament and Cabinet
- Monitor parliamentary events and identify matters affecting the department
- Liaise with portfolio and standing committees
- Ensure departmental representation in parliamentary events
- Prepare speeches, cabinet memoranda, and other official documents
- Oversee the gazetting and tabling of draft bills
- Manage logistics for parliamentary sessions in Pretoria and Cape Town
- Stay updated with public service policies and parliamentary procedures
- Preference will be given to:
