1. Procurement Supervisor
- Location: Head Office
- Band: C Upper

Purpose of the Position
The Procurement Supervisor will oversee procurement processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance, particularly for capital projects.
Requirements:
- A tertiary qualification in Finance Management, Purchasing Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Computer literacy and the ability to work with procurement software.
- A Code EB driving license.
- Experience in construction procurement is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demand Management: Ensure purchase requisitions comply with ECPTA policies and develop specifications for capital expenditures.
- Acquisition Management: Prepare advertisements and documents for procurement, facilitating tender briefing meetings.
- Supply Chain Management: Develop and review SCM policies, checklists, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Contract Management: Ensure procurement contracts adhere to legal prescripts and develop Service Level Agreements.
- Corporate Governance: Address audit findings and implement management responses.
- Administrative Support: Review subordinate work and provide procurement-related advice.
2. Senior Maintenance Officer (Fixed Term – 2 Years 7 Months)
- Location: Great Fish River Nature Reserve
- Band: C Lower
- Closing Date: 08 March 2025
Purpose of the Position
The Senior Maintenance Officer will oversee infrastructure and equipment maintenance in the Great Fish River Nature Reserve.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 + N3 Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- A trade test certificate in one of the fields (mechanical, electrical, or plumbing).
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Computer literacy.
- A Code 8 driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Maintenance: Conduct repairs and maintenance of roads, fences, vehicles, pumps, and visitor facilities.
- Supervision of Maintenance Team: Manage the maintenance team at the reserve.
- Manage Workshops: Set up and oversee park workshops.
- Procurement: Facilitate maintenance-related procurement processes.
- Infrastructure Projects: Work with ECPTA’s project management unit on contracted projects.
- Regulations & Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and environmental management plans.
