- MBChB or equivalent qualification in Health Science
- Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in General Surgery
- At least 5-10 years of relevant experience for senior grades
- Ability to manage Breast, Endocrine, and Renal Surgery Units
- Duties:
- Provide medical care to general surgery patients
- Train and supervise junior doctors and interns
- Conduct research and implement management protocols
- Provide surgical outreach services
