The MSDS is a two-year program and successful applicants will receive training in various fields such as artillery, engineering, logistics, and signals.
The program is designed to provide young individuals with an opportunity to acquire the necessary skills and qualifications to join the SANDF as full-time members. It also provides them with an opportunity to gain real-world experience and make a valuable contribution to the defence force.
During the two-year program, MSDS members will receive training in military skills, as well as academics and leadership. They will also receive a stipend and accommodation during the program. After completion of the program, successful MSDS members will have the opportunity to join the SANDF as full-time members.
