Retail Outlets
Pick and Pay and Boxer stores countrywide said in a statement issued that they are the first retailers to become a collection point for the SASSA SRD grant.
Beneficiaries can go to their nearest Pick n Pay or Boxer outlets to collect their SRD R350, however, beneficiaries must wait for an SMS of confirmation that their money is available.
You may also collect your R350 from the following retail outlets: Checkers, Shoprite, Usave, and selected OK Foods Supermarkets.
The Shoprite Group has also announced that it will be a point of collection, beneficiaries can now choose amongst these outlets.
However, you won’t be able to collect your SRD R350 at BP Pick n Pay Express, Pick n Pay Clothing or Pick n Pay Liquor stories.

- You’ll enter your ID number and cell phone number at the till point to confirm your R350 grant is available for collection.
- You will be required to approve the USSD message on your cell phone.
- The store will issue the SASSA R350 grant money to you.
The Bank
The SASSA R350 grant also has an option for the money to be paid directly to your banking account. According to SASSA providing your banking details results in your application being processed faster and once you receive your SRD money you can withdraw at your nearest banking ATM.
The banking option is the most convenient and secure one because it enables beneficiaries to collect their money anytime unlike waiting for days or waiting for the retail outlets to open.
