Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related postgraduate qualification (NQF level 7).
- Experience: 5 – 7 years of HR management experience, with a preference for experience in the aviation industry.
Knowledge and Skills
- Deep understanding of HR best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Proficient in HR management principles, project management, and change management.
- Solid knowledge of relevant South African labor legislation (BCEA, LRA, OHSA, Constitution, EEA).
- SAP HR proficiency.

2. HR Benchmarking and Best Practices
- Objective: To keep SAAT’s HR practices current and competitive.
- Activities:
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
- Regularly benchmark SAAT’s HR strategies, including recruitment, employee relations, and remuneration, against industry standards.
3. Recruitment and Selection
- Objective: To ensure SAAT attracts and retains the right talent.
- Activities:
- Review SAAT’s talent needs and develop recruitment strategies to meet these demands.
- Implement robust recruitment and selection processes for current and future needs.
4. Remuneration and Benefits
- Objective: To effectively manage SAAT’s remuneration and benefits strategy.
- Activities:
- Ensure the delivery of competitive remuneration and benefits packages in line with legislative and contractual obligations.
5. Employee Relations
- Objective: To foster harmonious employee relationships and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Activities:
- Develop and implement policies that promote positive employee relations.

6. Cost and Budget Management
- Objective: To manage HR-related budgets effectively.

7. Staff Management
