Job Requirements
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Education:
- A valid Grade 12/National Senior Certificate
- A Diploma or Degree in General Nursing and Midwifery
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) in receipt for the year 2024
- Experience:
- At least 7 years of recognizable experience as a professional nurse after registration with SANC
- Proof of current and prior work experience, endorsed by Human Resources
- Driver’s License:
- A valid Code B driver’s license is recommended.

Key Responsibilities
As the Clinical Program Coordinator (Grade 1) TB, your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing TB control policies and ensuring adherence to national guidelines at the district level.
- Organizing community outreach programs and events that promote TB awareness and prevention.
- Developing operational plans and managing the financial flow of TB programs at district institutions.
- Monitoring TB-related health practices, gathering data, and providing reports on key health indicators.
- Coordinating and analyzing TB reports and ensuring timely submission of data to the provincial TB directorate.
- Collaborating with NGOs and provincial departments to maintain referral services for TB patients and their communities.
- Ensuring that schools meet health promotion standards and remain compliant with national health regulations.
- Analyzing emerging health trends and implementing remedial actions alongside healthcare specialists.
- Facilitating case finding and retention care for TB patients within the Amajuba district.
Salary and Benefits
- R520,560 per annum
- Benefits include a 13th cheque, medical aid, and housing allowance (optional).
- Rural allowance will be paid on a claim basis.
