Job Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Grade 12 certificate or equivalent. A recognized National Diploma (NQF 6) in Office Management and Technology, Public Management, or a related qualification.
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in strategic planning and administration environment.
- Advanced experience in the development and implementation of policies and strategies.
- Practical experience in Office Management and Technology or Public Management.
- Additional Qualification: A post-graduate qualification in a relevant field will be an advantage.
- Knowledge:
- Understanding of Public Service legislation and policies.
- Knowledge of Post-School Education and Training (PSET) and TVET/CET administration.
- Understanding of the Higher Education sector, corporate governance, and the Employment Equity Act.
- Familiarity with Public Service Regulations, Labour Relations Act, and related legislation.
- Knowledge of cost center budgetary, expenditure, and cash flow management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and executive support services to the Office of the Principal.
- Offer secretariat support to the College Council, Council Committees, Academic Board, Senior Management, and other external stakeholders.
- Oversee and maintain logistics within the Office of the Principal.
- Coordinate meetings with various stakeholders, including sub-committees, councils, and academic boards.
- Organize training interventions and college-hosted functions, including décor layout, food service, and media protocol requirements.
- Manage records and ensure proper documentation.
- Supervise staff and ensure performance agreements are in place.

Job Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Grade 12 certificate or equivalent. A Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Finance, Accounting, or a related qualification.
- Experience:
- Five (5) years of financial experience with in-depth knowledge of expenditure, fixed assets, inventory, revenue functions, account clearing, and reconciliations.
- Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge:
- Understanding of Basic Accounting Systems (BAS).
- Familiarity with the CET Act, PFMA, and Treasury Regulations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and managerial skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAGE, and ITS systems.
- Additional Requirements: A valid driver’s license.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the payment of authorized departmental expenses.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of creditors, inventory, and fixed assets.
- Prepare monthly reports on inventory, fixed assets, and expenditure for management.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, transactions, and movements of inventory items.
- Ensure accurate calculation and recording of depreciation for college fixed assets.
- Oversee the data capturing of expenditure transactions and ensure proper accounting.
- Manage suspense accounts related to expenditure and clear ledger accounts.
- Handle reconciliation of accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Manage and reconcile travel accounts and attend to queries related to payments.
- Supervise departmental claims and manage financial staff.
