Key Job Responsibilities
In this critical HR-focused data analytics role, the successful candidate will handle responsibilities across multiple areas of data management, business process analysis, and project support. The main duties include:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop, compile, and interpret data reports to meet HR and university needs, ensuring data integrity and adherence to institutional policies.
- Metrics Development: Produce and maintain HR metrics, generating quarterly and annual reports that provide valuable insights into HR performance and strategic planning.
- System Enhancements & Compliance: Work with HR Business Partners to streamline processes, enhance system functionality, and ensure compliance with legislative and institutional requirements.
- Training & Support: Provide end-user training on new systems or enhancements, supporting HR staff in accessing and interpreting data effectively.

Minimum Requirements

- Educational Background: A Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems, B.Tech in Information Technology, or a related qualification.
- Experience: A minimum of four years in a related field. Previous experience with HR data analysis is advantageous.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL, Excel (including macros and pivot tables), and data visualization tools.
- Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage projects of medium scale, with a track record of completing them on time and within budget.
