Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work closely with the Officer: Stakeholder Relations to perform various duties, including:
- Strategy and Program Development:
- Supporting the development, review, and implementation of the Stakeholder Relations Strategy.
- Assisting in creating an outreach program to enhance the recognition of architecture within STEM.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Initiating engagements with stakeholders to promote the mandatory involvement of registered professionals in building designs.
- Facilitating strategic and key events to strengthen stakeholder relationships.
- Corporate Branding and Communications:
- Supporting the design and production of corporate branding materials such as annual reports, brochures, banners, and business cards.
- Monitoring media releases to ensure comprehensive coverage of SACAP initiatives.
- Assisting in the development of corporate communications plans and publications for stakeholders and internal staff.
- Media and Outreach:
- Distributing branding materials and facilitating media campaigns and press briefings.
- Ensuring the SACAP website is updated and maintained for corporate and internal communications.
- Administrative Support:
- Updating information on the event calendar.
- Assisting in reviewing Stakeholder Relations Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12 certificate.
- A relevant Diploma in Marketing or Communication.
- A minimum of one year’s experience in marketing, public relations, or a communications environment.
