Below are the available internship positions for 2025:
1. Learning Programmes – Education and Training Quality Assurance Unit
Reference Number: INTERN01/2025
- Field of Study: National Diploma in Public Administration, Business Administration, or Project Management
- Job Responsibilities: The intern will assist in ensuring that CATHSSETA’s Education and Training Quality Assurance needs and requirements are met. This includes delegated Quality Assurance functions by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations.
- Location: Head Office, Noordwyk in Midrand
2. Learning Programmes – Discretionary and Mandatory Grants Unit
Reference Number: INTERN02/2025
- Field of Study: National Diploma in Public Administration, Business Administration, or Project Management
- Job Responsibilities: The Grants Intern will assist the Grants management and administration team in the processing, tracking, and reporting of Mandatory and Discretionary Grants. This role will expose the intern to various aspects of the grant lifecycle, including funding framework, compliance, evaluation, allocation, monitoring, and report generation.
- Location: Head Office, Noordwyk in Midrand
3. Learning Programmes – Discretionary Grant Unit
Reference Number: INTERN03/2025
- Field of Study: Diploma in Communication, Marketing, or Public Relations
- Job Responsibilities: Assist with capturing stories and activities happening in various regions and share them with the Communication and Marketing Unit to promote CATHSSETA’s initiatives.
- Location: Head Office, Noordwyk in Midrand
4. Learning Programmes – Discretionary Grant Unit
Reference Number: INTERN04/2025
- Field of Study: National Diploma in Public Administration, Business Administration, or Project Management
- Job Responsibilities: Similar to the second position mentioned above, this role also focuses on assisting with the planning, implementation, management, and monitoring of learning programmes. The intern will help manage the grant lifecycle, from funding framework and application windows to monitoring and reporting.
- Location: Head Office, Noordwyk in Midrand
Requirements and Eligibility
To be considered for the CATHSSETA Internship Programme 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: A National Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, B-Tech, or Honour’s Degree in the relevant field (Public Administration, Business Administration, Project Management, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations).

Internship Stipend
