Key Responsibilities
The Facilities Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of offices, laboratories, common areas (including kitchens and ablution facilities), and meeting rooms. Specific responsibilities include:
- Daily Cleaning Duties:
- Clean offices, laboratories, and common areas (such as kitchens and bathrooms) every morning before staff arrive.
- Ensure that meeting rooms are cleaned and arranged prior to the start of meetings.
- Tea and Coffee Stock Management:
- Check and restock tea, coffee, sugar, and milk in the kitchen.
- Arrange refreshments during meetings as required.
- Request replenishment of tea, coffee, and other consumables when stocks are low.
- Maintenance of Cleaning Equipment:
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is well-maintained and operational.
- Report any damaged or faulty equipment to management for repair or replacement.
Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 8 or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in office cleaning or a similar role.
