    Requirements

    Educational Background

    • National Senior Certificate
    • National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Archives and Records Management or a related field

    Experience

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role (SL 7/8) within an archival environment

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Familiarity with Public Service Legislation and Policies
    • Understanding and application of Batho Pele principles

    • Monitor expenditure trends against the approved budget and ensure compliance with financial systems
    • Ensure the correct classification of funds and prevent misallocations

    Expenditure Management

    • Facilitate the payment of service providers and monitor accruals and commitments
    • Authorise payments and ensure compliance with credit transfers and monthly limits
    • Monitor disbursements reports and ensure the reconciliation of accounts

    Salary Administration

    • Oversee the payment of salaries and ensure the verification and authorisation of salary-related benefits
