Job Purpose
The main purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the municipality’s parks and recreational facilities by ensuring that all small plant and equipment are maintained and serviced. As a Handyman Workshop, you will be expected to handle minor repairs and maintenance on machinery, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.
Key Responsibility Areas
1. Servicing and Maintenance
- You will be responsible for performing regular servicing and minor repairs on machinery, tools, and equipment used in parks, leisure, and cemeteries across the municipality.
- This includes preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns and ensuring all equipment is operating at peak efficiency.
2. Driving and Transport
- The role requires you to drive allocated vehicles to perform daily tasks, including transporting equipment and tools to various locations across the district.
3. Record Keeping
