Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this teaching position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Qualification: A degree or qualification in the Further Education and Training (FET) phase or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Mathematics Proficiency: Applicants should have completed Mathematics up to the 3rd year of tertiary study.
- Valid Police Clearance: A police clearance certificate that is not older than 12 months is mandatory.
- Experience: At least 5 years of teaching experience in Mathematics (Grade 8-12) and Mathematical Literacy (Grade 10-12).
- Language Proficiency: Candidates must be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English and capable of teaching in both languages.
- Curriculum Knowledge: A sound understanding of the Curriculum Assessment Policy Statements (CAPS) is essential.
- Registration: Applicants must be registered with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
Duties and Responsibilities
