Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Research: Lead innovative and applied research in developing cost-effective TMES technologies.
- Proposal Writing: Develop funding proposals for projects in energy management and sustainable energy systems.
- Publishing: Prepare and publish high-quality research manuscripts in DHET accredited journals.
- Research Support: Assist with the research projects of the assigned supervisor and manage data related to TMES development.
- Supervision and Collaboration: Co-supervise postgraduate research and collaborate with other postdoctoral fellows.
- Project Management: Initiate and manage research projects, and contribute to the overall management of research activities.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other relevant assignments as required by the supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering with a background in Mechanical Engineering or vice versa, obtained within the last five years.
- Experience: Published at least two journal papers in energy systems optimization in the past five years.
- Visa: International applicants must have a long-term visitor’s visa for academic activities with MUT.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Practical experience in thermal processes, model simulation (MATLAB/SIMULINK, LabVIEW, PLC, Python, C/C++), and real-time simulators.
- Proposal Writing: Experience in crafting high-quality funding proposals.
- Supervision: Experience in supervising postgraduate students.
