Key Responsibilities:
- Policy and Procedure Implementation: Assist with the deployment of HCM policies, procedures, and systems.
- Data Management: Ensure accurate data entry and integrity on SAGE 300 and People Management Module.
- Employee Records: Manage updates to employee records, including transfers, promotions, and salary adjustments.
- Client Support: Address queries and complaints, providing guidance and support to employees and line managers.
- Medical and Pension Information: Inform employees about medical aid schemes and pension options.
- Claims Processing: Handle various claims including dismissal, retirement, resignation, UIF, and death claims.
- Audit and Compliance: Conduct periodic audits and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Supervision and Training: Oversee HCM Clerks, HR Clerks, and temporary employees, including training and development.
- Learning and Development: Coordinate and facilitate Learning and Development initiatives and Employee Wellness interventions.
- Recruitment and Selection: Manage recruitment processes, including drafting adverts, shortlisting, and organizing interviews.
- Onboarding and Exits: Ensure smooth onboarding of new employees and proper administration of exits.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: National Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- Experience: 2-4 years in a similar role and 2 years in a clerical role.
- Industry Experience: Advantageous to have experience in Conservation, Tourism, or Hospitality.
- Legislation Knowledge: Familiarity with BCEA, EE, LRA, Skills Development Act.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of HCM policies, financial principles, administrative management, and HR best practices.
- Competencies: Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and data management skills.
