Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 qualification.
- A relevant 3-year Diploma at NQF level 6 (advantageous).
- CCM qualification obtained in the last 5 years (advantageous).
- Fluency in English (essential).
- Ability to swim.
- Height proportional to weight (minimum of 1.58m).
- Body mass index (BMI) below 35 throughout employment.
- Ability to fit in the aisle of the aircraft.
- Additional foreign languages (advantageous).

Principal Accountabilities
- Understand and implement the Inflight Services strategy relevant to own work.
- Contribute to budget management and cost containment on-board.
- Use resources efficiently and effectively in area of responsibility.
- Utilize technology to meet internal and external customer requirements.
- Ensure governance and risk management policies are followed.
- Provide regular and timely reporting to key stakeholders.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs, projects, and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of customers and all crew on-board.
- Manage emergency situations and inflight medical emergencies.
- Provide high-quality service to customers and crew.
- Maintain effective communication between customers, flight deck crew, Purser, and cabin crew.
- Assist in maintaining crew well-being.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, standards, and relevant legislation.
- Report all non-compliance to Company Standards to the Purser and/or Commander.

- Understanding of Cabin Services collective agreements, policies, procedures, and standards.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements (BCEA, LRA, CAA regulations, etc.).
