Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the Stakeholders Perspectives for Global Health Research Ethics Equity Study: Assist in facilitating and promoting the research study focused on global health research ethics and equity, ensuring that stakeholders’ perspectives are effectively incorporated.
- Engage with Stakeholders and Organize Meetings and Focus Groups: Coordinate and manage interactions with various stakeholders, including organizing and scheduling meetings, focus groups, and other engagement activities to gather valuable insights.
- Collate Data from an International Team and Assist with Preliminary Data Analysis: Collect, manage, and organize data from international collaborators, and contribute to the initial stages of data analysis to support the research objectives.
- Aid in Manuscript Preparation and Financial Administrative Duties, Including Reporting for the Study’s Funder: Support the preparation of manuscripts for publication, and handle financial administrative tasks such as budget management and reporting to the funding body.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12/Senior Certificate/Matriculation or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in a research environment.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, Zoom, and NVivo or similar qualitative analysis tools.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong English communication skills.
- Proficient report writing abilities.
- Capability to work independently.
- Experience in qualitative data analysis.
Advantages:
- 1-2 years’ experience in a research administrator role.
- Prior experience planning and coordinating meetings.
- Proficiency in qualitative data analysis and manuscript preparation.
