Job Purpose:
The Western Cape Government’s Department of Social Development seeks a qualified individual to provide corporate communication services.
Minimum Requirements:
- An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree or higher qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
Recommendation:
- Experience in graphic design using Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva.
- Proficiency in digital media and photography.
- Valid code B (or higher) driver’s license.
Key Performance Areas:
- Develop, monitor, and enhance the department’s corporate identity and brand.
- Design and execute brand awareness campaigns.
- Develop and implement communication campaigns and products.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to design and launch above-the-line communication campaigns.
- Provide media liaison services.
- Coordinate proactive media events in collaboration with the Media Liaison Officer in the MEC’s office.
Competencies:
