About the Work-Based Experience Programme at William Humphreys Art Gallery
The PESP 5 Work-Based Experience Programme (WBE) at WHAG runs from 1 April 2025 to 30 September 2025 and offers two intern positions in the fields of creative writing and graphic design.

Intern Position 1: Creative Writing Internship
Are you a talented writer with a passion for art and storytelling? This internship will allow you to develop administration, research, and content creation skills for exhibition catalogues, newsletters, and other WHAG publications.
Requirements
- Qualification: BA degree in Creative Writing (NQF Level 7)
- Languages: English is required, while knowledge of Afrikaans and/or Tswana is advantageous
- Skills: Strong communication and writing abilities, problem-solving, and initiative
- Software Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Office
- Commitment: Must be available for the entire six-month period
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old
