Job Overview
The position of Senior Manager – Corporate Support Services is a crucial role within the municipality, focusing on the implementation of municipal transformation and institutional development. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in various areas including Human Resources (HR), Labour Relations, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Council Support, Legal Services, and Fleet Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the municipality’s transformation and institutional development strategy.

Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: At least a Postgraduate Degree registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) at Level 8 in Public Administration, Management Science, or Law. A Certificate Programme in Management Development (CPMD) or Municipal Finance Management Programme (MFMP) is mandatory.
- Experience: A minimum of five years of relevant experience at a middle management level in Corporate Support Services.
- Other Requirements: A valid driver’s license and advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Job Overview
The Chief Audit Executive is a high-level position within the municipality, focused on directing and managing the internal audit activities to ensure effective risk management and compliance with governance standards. The incumbent will report directly to the Municipal Manager and the Shared Services Audit Committee.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage internal audit activities, ensuring compliance with International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.
- Develop strategic audit plans that align with the municipality’s goals and establish risk-based plans to prioritize internal audit functions.

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and other relevant designations are advantageous.
- Experience: At least five years of experience in internal audit management, with membership in the Institute of Internal Auditors.
