1. Assistant Manager: Legal Services (1 Position)
- Basic Salary: R353,813.04 per annum (excluding benefits) – Task Grade 13
- Location: Main Office, Jane-Furse
- Requirements:
- Grade 12 plus an LLB Degree or equivalent relevant qualification
- 3 years of experience in the municipal sector, including 1 year at a supervisory level
- Key Performance Areas (KPAs):
- Implement legal services strategies and policies
- Provide legal advice and litigation services to the Municipality
- Offer administrative support to the Legal Services Unit
- Manage contracts for the Municipality
2. Assistant Manager: IDP (1 Position)
- Basic Salary: R353,813.04 per annum (excluding benefits) – Task Grade 13
- Location: Main Office, Jane-Furse
- Requirements:
- Grade 12 plus a National Diploma in Development Studies or equivalent relevant qualification
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Key Performance Areas (KPAs):
- Monitor the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) process and progress
- Oversee IDP reporting and stakeholder relations
- Facilitate participatory democracy through IDP campaigns
- Supervise departmental personnel
3. Technician: Roads & Stormwater (1 Position)
- Basic Salary: R280,116.31 per annum (excluding benefits) – Task Grade 11
- Location: Main Office, Jane-Furse
- Requirements:
- Grade 12 plus a National Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent relevant qualification
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Key Performance Areas (KPAs):
- Ensure work aligns with technical engineering specifications and standards
- Conduct roads and stormwater operations
- Compile reports and address findings related to roads and stormwater
- Manage electricity and housing administration
- Supervise personnel
4. EPWP Coordinators (2 Positions)
- Basic Salary: R248,281.85 per annum (excluding benefits) – Task Grade 10
- Location: Main Office, Jane-Furse
- Requirements:
- Grade 12 plus a Diploma in Project Administration or equivalent relevant qualification
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Code EB driving license
- Key Performance Areas (KPAs):
- Facilitate seamless delivery of infrastructure projects in line with the IDP and National Policy
- Ensure compliance with administrative processes, including reporting and record maintenance
- Set up and implement regional forums for effective communication and feedback
- Provide information and advice on relevant matters using various mediums
5. Examiner: VTS (1 Position)
- Basic Salary: R215,911.90 per annum (excluding benefits) – Task Grade 09
- Location: Nebo DLTC
- Requirements:
- Grade 12 plus a Diploma in Motor Vehicle or equivalent
- Code EC Driver’s License and Code EB driving license
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Key Performance Areas (KPAs):
- Ensure road safety through accurate vehicle assessments and certifications
- Maintain equipment and handle customer queries efficiently
- Foster good relations and maintain staff morale within the division
