Who Can Apply?
To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be between the ages of 18 – 35 years
- Must be a resident of Gauteng Province
- Must be unemployed
- Must not have participated in an internship programme in government before
- Must have completed a qualification in one of the following fields:
- National Diploma
- BA Degree
- BCom
- BTech
- Honours or Masters in:
- Psychology
- Industrial Psychology
- Human Resources
- Social Work
- Students who need experiential training to complete their qualification are also encouraged to apply
- Must have studied at a recognized institution of higher learning in South Africa
Duties and Responsibilities
Interns will be expected to:
- Complete all assigned tasks related to their field of study
- Work under the guidance of experienced professionals
- Gain practical skills in employee wellness, psychology, HR, and social work
- Assist in workplace health and wellness programmes
