    Job Purpose:

    To conduct administrative duties within the unit, ensuring proper documentation management and record-keeping.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain filing and archiving systems, ensuring secure documentation storage.
    • Receive and file charge control copies according to department procedures.
    • Acknowledge receipt of valid representations and refer cases to the supervisor.
    • Forward translations to the Legal Services Department and request additional information when needed.
    • Prepare and type dishonored cheque notices and reversing vouchers.
    • Assist with counter services, public inquiries, and telephone queries.

    Required Competencies:

    • Strong written and oral communication.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Good planning and organizational skills.
    • Data processing and analysis.
    • Team orientation and service delivery focus.

    Qualification & Experience:

    Essential Requirements:

    • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant administrative experience.
    • Computer literacy.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) and an Administrative Certificate.
    • 3 years of relevant experience.

    Salary & Benefits:

    • Salary Range: R218,077.44 – R283,086.84 per annum

    2. Workshop Attendant

    Special Conditions:

    • Due to the physically demanding nature of this job, applicants should be physically fit to perform tasks such as lifting, maneuvering, and operating workshop equipment.

    Job Purpose:

    To assist in mechanical maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring the proper servicing of vehicles and motorcycles.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare workshop equipment for vehicle and motorcycle servicing.
    • Check oil, brake fluid, gearbox oil, and differential oil levels.
    • Remove wheels for brake and brake cylinder inspection.
    • Replace and fit repaired tyres onto vehicles.
    • Inspect vehicle lights, indicators, and brake lights.
    • Assist with general vehicle repairs and servicing.
    • Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements.
    • Maintain workshop cleanliness, including sweeping and washing used spare parts.

    Required Competencies:

    • Ability to manage work efficiently.
    • Workplace safety knowledge.
    • Strong accountability for assigned tasks.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.

    Qualification & Experience:

    Essential Requirements:

    • Grade 10.
    • At least 3 months of relevant experience.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • Grade 12 or National Technical Certificate (N3).
    • 6 months of relevant experience.

    • Salary Range: R139,675.56 – R176,171.88 per annum
