Education Assistants (EAs) and General Assistants (GAs) NEW positions opening in August 2022
Good news for all South African unemployed youth, The Basic Education Employment Initiative (BEEI) invites unemployed youth who are interested in the opportunity to serve as Education Assistants and General School Assistants in Phase IV to register their details on www.sayouth.mobi.
The youth are encouraged to register on the SA Youth website so long while they are waiting for the application process to open.
Phase IV of the PYEI-BEEI targets a new cohort of youth, this ensure that the learning and earning opportunities reach far and wide, across all communities.
Requirements for Education Assistants and General Assistants
- You must be between 18 and 34 years of age.
- You must not have participated in the programme before.
- You must live no more than 5km’s away from the school (or 30km’s if it is a small, micro or farm school).
- Education Assistants must have at least a Matric qualification. Funza Lushaka grads are encouraged to apply.
- Youth with a disability are encouraged to apply for positions.
How to Register
Go to sayouth.mobi and Click Register
Fill in the actual data for the following information in the “Personal Information” section:
- First name
- Surname
- RSA ID number
- Date of birth
- Race
On the other hand, fill in the actual data for the following information in the “Contact Information” section:
- WhatsApp phone number
- Primary phone number
Once you are done, click “Next” to proceed to the next step. Follow all the instructions given to complete your registration.
Make sure that you have entered all the detailed information. You will not be able to continue if you do not complete all the required fields.
Now that you have registered yourself, log into your account to start joining existing networks. You may also need to upload your qualifications so the website can provide you with the best employer recommendations.
