Hospitality Co-Ordinator Job Description
The Hospitality Co-Ordinator is responsible for managing the sales of hospitality packages at Moses Mabhida Stadium and five additional municipal stadiums. This includes building strong, lasting relationships with clients, ensuring the delivery of seamless events, and overseeing all hospitality administration. The role also involves promoting hospitality services, supporting event sales, and coordinating activities to enhance the client experience.
Key Responsibilities
The Hospitality Co-Ordinator will:
- Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Develop and sustain positive relationships with both current and potential hospitality clients to foster ongoing support for Moses Mabhida Stadium events.
- Coordinate Events: Ensure that events are executed successfully, seamlessly, and safely by planning and organizing every detail.
- Oversee Hospitality Administration: Manage all administrative tasks, from distributing hospitality packages and booking forms to sending invoices for payments.
- Manage Sales Records: Keep accurate records of all hospitality sales, perform profit analyses, and present findings for decision-making.
Physical and Special Conditions
Due to the nature of events and hospitality, the Hospitality Co-Ordinator may:
- Be required to work outdoors, possibly in various weather conditions.
- Need to work outside normal hours during emergencies, scheduled events, or for overtime as required.
- Be on standby for urgent or high-priority tasks.

Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Education: Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Hospitality Management, Events Management, Tourism, or an equivalent field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- License: A valid driver’s license is necessary for this position.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience: 4 years of relevant experience is advantageous and may enhance the applicant’s chance of selection.
