Requirements
Generic Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Demonstrate competency in post-specific functions.
- Possess a Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- Be proficient in at least two official languages, with one being English.
- Be a South African citizen.
- Have no criminal record or pending cases.
- Show computer literacy skills.
- Exhibit interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

- Have report-writing, presentation, and developmental abilities.
- Hold at least a valid light motor vehicle driver’s license.

Additional Requirements
- Hold a 3-year Degree in Social Work (SAQA accredited at NQF Level 7 or higher).
- Be registered as a Social Worker with the SA Council for Social Service Professions and provide valid proof of registration for the 2024/2025 financial year.
- Possess extensive knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
- Be ready to work in a multidisciplinary team and promote Social Work Services.
- Experience in facilitation, supervision, or management is advantageous.
- Be prepared to travel and attend courses as required.
