Purpose of the Teacher Job
The primary objective of this position is to promote the well-being of young children through developmental programs that focus on a holistic approach. This includes addressing their physical, mental, and psychological needs, ensuring they are prepared for future educational success.
Key Responsibilities
As one of the selected teachers, you will be responsible for the following:
- Supervising and providing care for a group of 30 children aged 3 to 5 years.
- Ensuring that all fees are paid before the seventh of each month.
- Presenting lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
- Maintaining cleanliness within the classroom, toilet, and bathroom.
- Supervising children during various activities and ensuring their safety.
- Keeping a class register and compiling observation and progress reports.
- Accompanying children on educational trips organised by the centre.
- Attending in-service training sessions as directed by your supervisor.
This role is crucial in providing early childhood education, which plays a significant part in shaping the future of the children in the community.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A Diploma in Educare or an equivalent qualification in early childhood development.
- At least one year of relevant experience working with young children in a similar environment.
- Applicants must be physically fit and in good health, as this is an active role that involves interacting with young children.
