SCM Practitioner Role Purpose
The successful candidate will oversee and provide tender evaluation and screening functions within the Tender Evaluation sub-section. By applying sound supply chain management principles, you will ensure compliance with the provisions of the Municipal Finance Management Act while performing key administrative functions.
Selection Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification, preferably a National Diploma or BCom with financial accounting as a major subject.
- Candidates must meet the minimum competency requirements or obtain them within 18 months of appointment.
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in supply chain management or a related field.
Additional Skills and Requirements
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Valid Code B driver’s license.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and handle stressful situations.
