Key Responsibilities
As an Administration Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Finance Management:
- Overseeing local office financial processes.
- Ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness in financial administration.
- Managing petty cash and monitoring budgetary control.
- Human Resources Management:
- Handling HR functions in line with compliance standards.
- Implementing and monitoring adherence to new/revised policies and procedures.
- Managing a diverse team to ensure accountability and efficiency.
- Operational Management:
- Ensuring the application of local office Manual and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Identifying and mitigating risks in collaboration with the management team.
- Overseeing infrastructure and fixed asset management.
- Procurement and Contract Management:
- Managing procurement processes, sourcing quotes, and processing invoices.
- Monitoring local office contracts for compliance and value for money.
- Business Intelligence and Reporting:
- Providing oversight of Business Intelligence (BI) reports.
- Compiling and interpreting reports and statistics for strategy implementation.
- Vehicle and Fleet Management:
- Ensuring efficient management of office vehicles and fleet operations.
Required Competencies
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Educational Qualifications:
- National Senior/Matric certificate.
- A three-year tertiary qualification in Financial Management/Accounting (NQF 6/National Diploma).
- A qualification in Supply Chain Management is advantageous.
- Experience:
- Five years of administrative experience.
- Two years of relevant management experience.
- Experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency in basic computer software packages.
- Ability to develop and implement operational plans.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Competence in resource and risk management.
- Excellent business writing and project management skills.
- Knowledge of core administration, HR, communication, and financial disciplines.
- Understanding of the Constitution, PFMA, National Treasury Regulations, and Legal Aid SA Act.
- Familiarity with employment-related Acts and electronic systems/technologies.
- Other Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license.
