- Grade 1: R451,533.00 per annum (Minimum 4 years of experience as a professional nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) and 1 year post-basic qualification in Clinical Nursing Science, Health Assessment, Treatment, and Care (PHC)).
- Grade 2: R553,545.00 per annum (Minimum 14 years of experience as a professional nurse, 10 of which must be in primary healthcare post obtaining a basic qualification in Clinical Nursing Science, Health Assessment, Treatment, and Care (PHC)).

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the role of Clinical Nurse Practitioner, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Educational Qualifications:
- Senior Certificate (Matric)
- Diploma or Degree in General Nursing (or equivalent)
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse and Midwife
- A post-basic nursing qualification in Clinical Nursing Science, Health Assessment, Treatment, and Care (Primary Health Care), accredited by SANC
- Current SANC registration for 2024
- Proof of relevant experience, endorsed by the Human Resources department
- Experience:
- Grade 1: A minimum of 4 years of recognizable experience as a Professional Nurse.
- Grade 2: A minimum of 14 years of recognizable experience as a Professional Nurse, with at least 10 years in Primary Health Care after obtaining the relevant post-basic qualification.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
Applicants should possess the following:
- Strong understanding of nursing legislation and ethical nursing practices
- Ability to perform clinical nursing duties in line with nursing standards
- In-depth knowledge of the Code of Conduct, Labour Relations Act, and related policies
- Proficiency in report writing, time management, and mentoring
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Ability to formulate patient-related policies and conduct clinical audits
- Basic understanding of Human Resources (HR) and Financial policies
- Computer literacy
Key Performance Areas
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Provide comprehensive primary healthcare that includes promotive, preventative, curative, and rehabilitative services to the community.
- Offer holistic nursing care to patients in a cost-effective, efficient, and equitable manner.
- Promote quality nursing care by coordinating between the hospital and community to prevent medico-legal hazards.
- Display a strong concern for patient welfare by ensuring adherence to Batho Pele principles.
- Assist patients and their families in developing self-care skills.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Plan and organize the work of support personnel to ensure proper nursing care.
- Participate in the formulation, analysis, implementation, and monitoring of clinic policies and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with Infection Prevention and Control as well as Occupational Health and Safety policies.
- Supervise junior employees and provide direct or indirect guidance to all support and nursing staff.
- Ensure the proper use of medical equipment and pharmaceuticals.
- Monitor clients for HIV, TB, and other related conditions, including screening and initiating treatment.
- Participate in community awareness programs and collaborate with community stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate data collection and timely submission of reports for clinical audits.
- Deputize for the Operational Manager when necessary.
- Attend relevant facility, sub-district, and district-level meetings.
