Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. Qualifications:
- Trade Certificate in Electrical (Light/Heavy Current) at NQF Level 4 (with 120 credits).
2. Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of electrical experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities
As an Engineering Assistant, your main duties will include:
- Operating and servicing HV Plants
- Ensuring safe and efficient operations of high-voltage electrical equipment.
- Maintenance and Inspections
- Performing routine maintenance on plant equipment.
- Conducting inspections to identify potential issues.
- Mentoring and Coaching
- Assisting with on-the-job training for junior employees.
- Ensuring Safety and Environmental Compliance
- Following safety procedures in line with ORHVS and OHS Act.
- Documentation and Configuration Management
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance work and system changes.
- Non-Outage Related Activities & Condition Monitoring
- Conducting diagnostic tests and reporting findings.
