The LDM Spaza Shop Competition South Africa 2024 is a promotional competition run by Pharmacare Ltd t/a Aspen Pharmacare (also known as the promoter) for spaza shop customers.
10 lucky individuals will be awarded R30 airtime daily throughout the competition period.
Competition Date:
The competition started on December 4th, 2023, and ends on July 31st, 2024.
Eligibility Requirements for LDM Spaza Shop Competition:
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- You must be a South African Citizen or Permanent Resident
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must NOT be an employee or an immediate family member of the Promoter
- You must not be affiliated in any way to the Promoter’s associated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, outlet owners or staff.
Entry Process:
- Take a selfie: Capture a photo of yourself at an LDM Spaza Shop, ensuring LENNON point-of-sale material is visible in the background.
- Submit the selfie: Send your selfie via WhatsApp to LENNON along with the spaza shop’s name.
- Proof of Identity: Include a copy of your valid South African ID document or driver’s license as proof of citizenship and age.
Winners Selection Process:
Draws will be conducted at the end of each day, with the winners receiving a notification that they have won. This notification will happen within 24 hours of the daily draw, and will be submitted via email and/ or phone call.
Should the prize winner not respond to the phone calls or emails within three days, the prize will then be transferred to a randomly selected winner.
The day following the announcement of the winner, the Promoter will load the airtime prize onto the phone number that the participant entered with.
Terms and Conditions:
- Only one prize will be awarded per winner.
- No individual may win more than once.
- The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash/ an alternate prize.
- The Promoter reserves the right (at its own discretion and election) to amend, alter and/ or cancel the competition. These terms include, but are not limited to the competition’s value, mechanics and prizes.
- Should the Promoter choose to amend, alter or cancel the competition, the Promoter will not be held responsible for compensation towards the participant.
- These rules and amendments, cancellations and alterations of such will be determined solely by the Promoter.
- The Promoter’s decision regarding the competition is final.
- Entries must be original work (i.e. no participant may submit another person’s entry).
- The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify and/or refuse to award prizes to individuals who have:
- Published their entry before on any other platform.
- Made an entry that infringes the copyright/ other rights of a third party.
- Plagiarized an entry.
- Engaged in any other form of fraudulent activity.
- Any liabilities that arise as the result of infringements will be that of the participant.
- The Promoter reserves the right to make media announcements/ publications of the names and photographs of winners and participants. Individuals entering the competition have the right to decline this.
- Winners or participants will not receive payment or remuneration for the above-mentioned publicity. All publicity and materials relating to the competition will be the sole property of the Promoter.
- By entering the competition, entrees agree to the terms and conditions of the Competition Rules
- Each Participant agrees to receive future marketing material from the Promoter. The Participant may elect to opt out of receiving marketing material or request the Promoter to delete their information by contacting the Promoter via the details provided on the Aspen Privacy Statement published on the Aspen website.
- The LDM Spaza Shop competition is not administered, sponsored, endorsed, or associated with Facebook.
