Requirements
Applicants for the Pharmacist Internship must meet the following qualification requirements:
- Possession of a basic qualification accredited by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
- This qualification enables registration with the SAPC as a Pharmacist Intern.
- Candidates must ensure their qualification meets SAPC accreditation standards.
- Registration with the SAPC is a prerequisite for applying to the Pharmacist Intern position.
Responsibilities
As a candidate for the Pharmacist Internship, you will be responsible for several key areas:
- Pharmaceutical Care: Evaluate prescriptions, dispense medication, and provide information to ensure patient compliance and therapeutic success.
- Medicine Supply Management: Ensure safe and reliable procurement, storage, control, and distribution of quality pharmaceuticals.
