Purpose of the Regional HR Assistant Role
As a Regional HR Assistant at the CCMA, you will be responsible for providing HR administration support within the region. You will act as a liaison between Regional Management, Employees, and the National Office Human Resources Unit. Ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions and the timely submission of accurate reports to the National HR office will be your core focus.
Key Performance Areas
- Recruitment Support: Assist with the recruitment process, ensuring that all necessary documentation and procedures are followed.
- Termination Administration: Handle employee termination processes, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Leave Administration: Manage employee leave records and requests in accordance with company policy.
- General HR Administration: Provide day-to-day administrative support for all HR functions in the region.
- ETD Support: Assist in employee training and development (ETD) initiatives.
- Wellness Support: Contribute to the well-being of employees through wellness programs and initiatives.
Key Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: A three-year National Diploma in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or a related business qualification.
- Experience: At least two years of HR administration experience will be beneficial.
- Additional Skills: Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
