Duties and Responsibilities
Debtor Reconciliation
- Responsibilities:

- Provide Revenue Accountant with updated information received
- Responsible for telephonic follow-up
- Print statement with movement on the account
- Ensure that all payments are reflected on the statement
- Check the physical file against the electronic file
- Verify that the account balances
Billing
- Responsibilities:
- Ensure that revenue projections are met
- Handle pre-sales billing due process
- Attain approval from the Revenue Accountant for valid sales and decline invalid sales orders
- Correct all declined sales orders and liaise with the Revenue Accountant
- Report on approved and declined orders
Administration
- Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor the financial system to ensure accurate and timely maintenance of cidb’s finances
- Process financial documents in accordance with financial regulations
- Clean suspense accounts and capture journals
- Ensure correct information is captured on the system
- Handle audit queries (internal and external)
- Attend to all queries related to revenue on different financial matters
Requirements
- Education and/or Experience:
- National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in accounting or a finance-related field
- At least six months to one-year related experience
