Requirements:
- Education:
- Matric Certificate
- National Diploma in Office Administration and Technology, Administration, Public Management, or a related qualification at NQF Level 6 (SAQA-recognized)
- A related qualification at NQF Level 7 is advantageous
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in an administrative role
- Experience in a regulatory environment is a plus
- License: Valid driver’s license
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines related to the Medicines and Related Substances Act 101 of 1965
- Strong verbal and numerical reasoning skills for data analysis and interpretation
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Effective under pressure with strong communication skills (verbal, written, conflict management)
- Good planning, organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office
- Proactive and service-oriented with a focus on performance-based management
- Adherence to ethical standards and Code of Conduct
Duties:
- Maintain activity trackers for healthcare professionals (HCPs) and the Pharmacovigilance Advisory Committee (PVC)
- Prepare agendas and documents for meetings, including Committees, sub-committees, working groups, and other stakeholders
- Draft and communicate recommendation letters to certificate holders, applicants, and PV stakeholders
- Update audit folders with relevant documentation
- Assist with administrative tasks related to PV stakeholder travels and trainings
- Travel with the PV training team as required
