1. Research Technician – Medicinal Plants & Industrial Crops at ARC-VIMP, Roodeplaat, Pretoria
Key Responsibilities:
- Contributing to projects, coordinating work activities, and supervising resources.
- Adhering to financial and administrative controls.
- Planning and conducting research support activities, data collection, and processing.
- Providing reports and assisting in presentations and optimization of equipment and processes.
- Contributing to the development of new technologies and technical services.
Requirements:
- BSc degree or National Diploma in Agronomy/Crop Science/Plant or Crop Production.
- Experience in a research environment and proficiency in managing research trials.
- Knowledge of soil cultivation, irrigation systems, and sustainable field management.
- Added advantage: Experience with medicinal plants and industrial crops, and irrigation scheduling skills.
- Good communication, presentation skills, and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license.
2. SCM Buyer (Six Months Fixed Term Contract) at ARC-PHP, Roodeplaat, Pretoria
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing Supply Chain Management functions in line with regulations.
- Handling enquiries, compiling reports, and managing procurement processes.
- Assisting with international and contract procurement and advising on procurement strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree/B-Com or National Diploma in Supply Chain Management.
- Experience in public sector procurement and knowledge of PFMA regulations.
- Understanding of contract administration and ability to work independently or in a team.
3. Physical Security Professional at ARC-Central Office, Hatfield, Pretoria
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing physical security measures, drafting security policies, and conducting risk assessments.
- Supervising outsourced security services and ensuring compliance with security legislation.
- Investigating security breaches and liaising with law enforcement agencies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Security Risk Management or related fields.
- Five years’ experience in physical security operations and supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of security systems, legislation, and risk assessment skills.
- Valid code B driver’s license and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to travel extensively and conduct sensitive investigations.
